We add a clicker (typically to the Cane) that helps to get specific tasks like Safari Mode informing the user about the environment, or Query Mode allowing the user to check an object (apple or pear). The device can read texts like menus or street names or identify signboards like McDonald's. VMobi TM is helpful for navigating the neighborhood or a campus or going to a grocery store. In case of confusion or emergency, it can help you connect with your sighted helper/caregiver to communicate via real-time video streaming with your phone.
The device is an excellent choice for school or college-going students, adults looking for a job, or professionals looking to advance in their fields. Ideal for someone 15 to 50 years old.

Did you know that there are about seven million people who are either blind or visually impaired? This includes people who are “legally” blind, meaning their vision is 20/200. It is hard to tell a more precise number. The actual number could be millions more!

Of the adult population, about 70% of them are unemployed! Yes, a staggering 70% do not have a job.
How do they survive? They mainly depend on about $1,000 monthly, called Supplemental Security Income, aka SSI. Of course, they must typically be supported by two more sighted individuals like parents or siblings. You guessed it right: three people are unproductive for everyone like this. This is an economic challenge for all of us.

Compared to the general population, which has more than 90% computer literacy, computer literacy is about 42% among this demographic.

Another interesting aspect of this demographic is that they can do most of our jobs if it does not require immediate real-time response. Yes, they can be teachers, professors, legal assistants, computer programmers, data entry technicians, researchers, writers, editors, social workers & counselors, journalists, musicians, artists, entrepreneurs, etc.

If, magically, we could employ half of the unemployed PBVI adults, they would be contributing hundreds of Billions of dollars to society rather than taking hundreds of Billions of dollars. The net impact could be as high as half a Trillion dollars. Just think about the implications.
