Career Opportunities

Finding a job is a  full-time job, and it  is true for everyone. Job search must be done in structured manner to dramatically increase your chance of succeeding, i.e., landing a job.

Step One

Even if you have a decent resume prepared with the help of your helper and friends, please make sure to polish it with professionals. You can get free professional help from places like your school, college, or university. Counselors from these institutes will be happy to help.  Another place is your local (Texas state) Workforce Commission. In Texas, we have TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) and Texas Workforce Solutions.

Please check for spelling, grammatical mistakes, and the structure  of your resume.

Please make sure that your cover letter is truly targeted and does not look like a mass cover letter!

Step Two

Career Counsellors of your educational institutes are a great help for this. Please make sure to have enough time to give you the needed attention.

Step Three

This is a critical step for a successful landing in a satisfying job. Nowadays, many jobs are posted on social media. So, you need to be active on social media and keep in touch with your friends who are either looking for a job or already have a job.

This is why we created our own restricted group, INVITE, to help you.

Many other websites can help you land a job. Every state has its own Workforce Commission. For Texas, we have the Texas Workforce Commission and Texas Workforce Solutions. Find the nearest office for you. Here are a few website links:
